The Kiwanis Club of the Idaho Panhandle is a group of business men and women and active community supporters who work to improve the Community of Coeur d’Alene. Our primary focus over the years has been making Coeur d’Alene a better place for children.
The Panhandle Kiwanis Club will celebrate its 40th Anniversary in 2010, and has been involved in many community projects over those years.
Our Current Activities Page will inform you of upcoming club projects that will enhance the community or provide service to our local people.
While we are committed to helping Coeur d’Alene become better than it is, on our way to helping, we manage to have a great time, so also visit our Membership Activities page to check on some of the fun things we do when we are not serving the community.
Current Club President, Sarah McCracken and husband Dan on our NIC Athletic Boosters cruise in September 2008. Sarah and Dan are WSU grads. Sarah is an accountant and Dan is a civil engineer.
If you are new to our community, you also might want to visit the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce or the Coeur d’Alene Visitor’s Bureau.

Kiwanis International was founded in 1915, and is a thriving organization of service-minded men and women who respond to the unique needs of their communities and address worldwide issues following it’s motto of “Young Children, Priority One.”
Kiwanis is the place for you if:
You believe children are the future
You take pride in your community
You want to reach out to those in
need and
You enjoy meeting new people.
Kiwanis members:
Improve communities and the world
Build enduring friendships through
service to others
Participate in fun and fellowship
Develop business contacts through
networking opportunities
Gain insight into local and
international issues
Attain a greater appreciation of their
own talents and success
Kiwanis uses funds raised from the community to fund its community projects. The Flag Project page will show you one of our annual fundraisers. The club does not use community funds for its social activities, so you can donate to the club with assurance that all the money raised from the community will go back to the community.
We support the Kiwanis Key Club at Coeur d’Alene High School. Their web site can be found by clicking on this link. Key Club at CDA High
